I drive a Honda S2000. While trying to think of a screen name, I looked out and saw my car in the drive way.
For those who know about cars, it's an Ap1. I chose that because it's better as a sports car. The Ap2's have looser suspension, looser steering, and a lower redline. As a daily driver, the Ap2 is better. I chose the more sporty version because I'm a spirted driver.

Indeed I do. In fact, I found this site via a pc game. See my thread in General Discussion. I play primarily blizzard games, however, I like to play some Counter-Strike Condition Zero from time to time. Warcraft iii is pretty good, but I don't really like the hero idea too much. I like warcraft ii more. The hero and the items he gets is too much based on luck. Starcraft is my favorite blizzard game and I cannot wait for the release of Starcraft 2.

Nice. If you play Starcraft we should play some time. Cornelius plays too, Australian time zone makes things difficult for him sometimes though.

Funny you say that. To make the Club Racer, they used everything off of the Ap1 except for the engine and the rear diff. The steering system, bushings, springs, shock absorbers, and transmission are all from the Ap1. They basically took the best of both cars and put them together to make the CR. They put a hard top on instead of a convertible to reduce weight by 50lbs and that's about it. The CR is actually closer to an Ap1 than it is an Ap2 believe it or not. There's a lot of info on it on s2ki.com. That is the worlds biggest s2000 club. I'll talk cars with anyone all day.
I'm up for a game of Starcraft, Phyrexial, don't cry when my super 1337 zergling rush gets you though.......
Dench, I'm not picky about grammar. I think it's dumb to laugh about someones grammar on a forum. I'm sure anyone is smart enough to make a grammatically correct post, some people just don't care.

Ha. The only one I'd consider is the Pearl Yellow. I know a guy who has the light baby blue with the black top and rims. I don't like the look personally. Car and Driver magazine ran the CR against a Dodge Challenger SRT-8 and the CR beat it by 1.5 seconds per lap. That's not bad considering that the SRT-8 is putting down around 500 horse power and the s2000 CR has a N/A 2.2l 4 Cyl putting down 240.

I've always wanted an S2, I think they are fantastic cars. I would love a black AP2 with a spoon top. I choose the AP2 for the slightly higher torque and lower RPM power output. Suspension can be swapped and beefed easily enough... plus I enjoy the front end more... unless I could afford a new front; mugen or veilside would be wonderful.
I've always been a fan of Backyard Special, but they dont make an S2 front.

That's funny. We both love the cars but we like different mods for them. I would like to get a Mugen or OEM hardtop for it but I don't like the spoon hardtop at all. The Ap2 does have like 10 more ft/lbs of torque, but honestly, you can barely tell the difference. Speaking from experience, the Ap2 will beat the Ap1 in a 1/4 drag race, but if you go to a 1/2 drag the Ap1 will win. It's so close the whole way though. Most people that race on a road course like the f20cc engine over the f22cc because of the fact that it revs higher. That gives you longer gears which helps a ton in the turns. The Ap2 tops out at about 144 and the Ap1 will go on up to 168. I agree that the stock front looks better on the Ap2, but there's hardly much of a difference at all lol.

I like how aggressive the Spoon top looks, it completely changes the cars look. You either love or hate that.

I think it makes it look too much like a 350z. I'm not into fastbacks much anyway. The mugen looks equally as aggressive in opinion. The OEM doesn't look aggressive at all on the other hand.

.cyph - I guess I haven't been completely fair to the spoon. I've seen many mugen's in person but I've only seen the spoons in pictures. I don't exactly know how to open the trunk with a spoon hardtop though.... lol

im serious about that.
originally you could just put "............................................" endlessly in the chat and it would time out koreans. then blizz did a half ass fix, so people just put spaces in it like "..... ................ .............." and then that lagged the koreans out. after a few months of kicking them off US East, they fixed it and then gave them Asia 2 and 3 to play on instead of speaking in their crazy "jbhfjasfn kjbadhfnanf" talk in our US east games.
the koreans were nice people overall though, when you could find ones that had a english character keyboard at least.
me and a few of my friends doing this korean rocket to koreans leaded to a excellent and over year long clan war with a liberal minded group of role playing hippies who my PKK zon would rip through in 1 vs 7 matches. oh yes.

I love white cars. Loved the ITR in Champ White, love the S2000 in white with black int, and I love the 99 Civics in white.

By the way, there are 3 nsx's in the group that I cruise with. One black, one red, one blue. They all get laid like crazy.
Sadly, most of the s2000's that come in white have nasty beige int. Ew.

Oh. I'm pretty sure that I haven't seen one of those yet. The thing with the s2000 is that the lines of the car aren't sharp and clearly defined like they are on most BMW's and other cars that I think look good in white. White really kills the lines of the s and I just don't like the look. I bet the black interior with the red seats looks sexy though.
These seat covers and side panels are my next investment into the car....
