View Full Version : Hypothetical

If you had a pregnancy scare with a girl you were barely interested in beyond physical attraction, who is keen as for fooling around, but also kinda naive and whatnot, would you take that scare (that was fairly random and as expected was her being a total moron) as a sign to stop going there, or as a sign to be more careful.
Basically I feel like I should prolly just leave it but my dong has more power than I, but I tend to feel that if somethings seems like a sign, there may be some repurcussions if I don't heed it to some degree.
Also, if you knew you had done something at your job that you could at any time be fired for, and you knew that it would take some very simple admin work to notice what you did wrong, would you keep working at the place or quit before you have a resume that states you were fired?
I need to be more sensible in life but I'm always too busy rocking out or not thinking through what I'm doing till way too late. OR I over analyse stuff and create situations out of reactions to things that never existed, or that I only assume existed, which leads me to treat people in certain ways at times that may be unfair, but is honestly from my point of view the right way to treat em, and then realise later that what I was thinking was never confirm as much as hinted at or somewhat implied. That was a long sentence, and I'm not even sure what I'm talking about but this is what sx is for right? right.
Also I'm not even high or drunk just rambling lolol

Take it as both. You need to stop going there, and be more careful. You need to take your own measures to keep gene-seed from accidentally going to work, and so does whomever you're plunging with it.
As far as work goes, how major is this? is it fixable? was this an intentional fuck up? If not, than it's better to come clean than let it be caught. Especially if this is a snowballing error.
sex: bring your own condoms
work: what cyph sez, depends on the screw up. does the finger point unerringly to you? will it blow over given enough time? can you claim ignorance? will they hunt you down even after you leave? if you know you are going to get fired no matter when they find the mistake, and only you could have made the mistake, get your resume busy.

The woman thing has been covered IMO.
Also, if you knew you had done something at your job that you could at any time be fired for, and you knew that it would take some very simple admin work to notice what you did wrong, would you keep working at the place or quit before you have a resume that states you were fired?
It depends entirely on the situation. I can't cover all situations, but generally speaking if I did something that was morally wrong which would guarantee job termination if discovered, I would be inclined to offer to tender my resignation with an explanation of what happened.
However, rules regarding references of employment may be different in Canada than they are in Australia - and I mention this because here in Canada, past employers are not legally allowed to state anything to potential employers which would jeopardize your chances or eligibility for employment (meaning that companies here don't do references any more because they're scared of legal retaliation, so the issue would never come up at the new job... regardless of whether you quit or were fired).
If I did something which was morally right but outside of standard protocols / overstepping your bounds, I would either continue as per normal or bring it up in a discussion and defend my actions.
Either way, clarifying the 'hypothetical' situation would allow us to give better answers.

stop going where, exactly? stop having sex with morons?

Jeney if I stopped having sex with morons I'd never get laid. Also, since I was kinda ranting i didn't really explain anything, but I wasn't having unprotected sex with her, our bits were rubbing and some pre cum is almost guaranteed to come out, and she freaked. That's why I call her a moron, she had no idea when she was due for her period and freaked the fuck out, which in turn worried me, even though I knew the likelyhood of it doing anything that serious is really really really low.
As for the work thing, it was morally wrong, and for now it looks like im in the clear, and the thing I was doing wrong I stopped months ago, so if they notice it in the admin section they will also notice that it's been corrected since, which gives me hope that I could talk my way out of the problem. I love my job so I don't wanna lose it, but I also don't want it on my resume that I was fired. I don't know about the stuff Keith mentioned either, but regardless of that it'd be lame to have to go, which makes me really not want to quit etc etc

Was this a big fuck up that could show up one day later?
In most cases, if it was a human error, employers will not fire you. As long as the mistakes are not continuously being made.

A while back I owed some med certs and I didn't know you could see a doctor after the fact and get a backdated med cert, so i forged a couple. Later on I found out it wasnt necessary so I stopped doing it. Basically I was just trying to not get fucked up for not having a med cert and that was how I did it.
Another guy at work did the same thing and just got caught, and we used the same template, so if they ever happen to glance at my file and look at the med certs it will be blatantly obvious and I'm screwed. I know it was dumb but as I said at the time I didn't know backdated med certs existed and I was freaking out about getting super raped for it.
To anyone who wonders why I didnt go to the doctors at the time, these situations occured either late enough in the afternoon for the doctors to be booked out (as in i went home sick) or just at times when doctors were closed and what not.
It wasn't till i spilt boiling water all over my hand (I count myself lucky, I was cooking nude at the time and coulda burnt my dong) on a saturday evening, and I couldn't see the doc till monday that I realised you could do it, and even then at first I thought he only gave me a cert cause the burns were visible proof.
So yeah, I did something really dumb to not lose my job, and now it might cost me my job, which was always a risk I took and whatnot but I'm hoping the fact that my med certs that I provided are all legit after that so I'm hoping that's my saving grace, buts its a pretty serious offence so I'm not hopeful.
Note: I'm just going off of the first post here.
Work: Change yourself around, no screwing around with that. You may not be able to undo certain things of it.
Girls: You'll never be able to have this much fun or freedom with that or anything else in your life. Live it up while you can, but dodge the bullets.
start looking for a new job, hell you may get a pay raise out of it

Im confused as to how post dated med certificates for yourself will get you canned. Maybe it's because I don't know what you do what the protocol is.

They won't, but I didn't realise they existed at first, so I forged some. Another guy at work did the same thing and they noticed how dodgy they were and followed it up for him and hes gone now, so if they ever happen to look at my file they will see the same ones and I would be boned.

But they were for legit events... were the other guys? If anything comes up just explain you didn't know at the time.

Yeah thats the plan, basically they will either accept it as a stupid mistake that has already been corrected, or boot me out. I think I'm in the clear for the immediate future anyway so hopefully it just gets forgotten about.
