well... the above post was made by marc, on my account, if you could get that impression from teh whole "neato" comment... but it is a decent idea.. because we noticed that while logged in on my name, i have NO possible way of seeing marc's journal because he hasnt made one recently and he's not one of the top view spammers.... so technically, he's the only one who can see his journal atm by logging on to his name...
so the suggestion is that we have links to everone's journal (however dan wants to do it) so we can see old journals of members who might not make a lot of journal entries
i second the motion. i just figured i was too dumb/impatient to find the link to a full consolidated list of people with journals.

there should still be a link somewhere in the 'journal' section though.

Yeah, I thought that when i went to the jounals section of this place, i would see a list of all current journals, so I could pick and choose who's journal I damn well felt like looking at, but that's not the case, or something. AND STUFF.
Do it.

I've been having to go into the member directory, find their last post, and click on the journal icon. I think this is a very good idea.

1) add user to buddy list
2) user cp --> clik on persons name, that takes you to profile
3) click on last post
4) click on journal icon.
presto. save you trouble of searching member database. either that or you could make a folder in your favorites for sx live journals.

Or we could just make it so that they can all be seen in the jurnal area. Woulden't that be easy ? I mean instead or having to go through the members area or the profile.

OR you guys could complete the journal section of the site?
remove the 'journals with most views' and 'with most entries' and add a section with an alphabetical listing of all journals that also lists views and entries. otherwiser we are gonna get people spamming/bumping just so that their journals can be seen for more than 4 hours at a time.
it should require less than 5 steps (three, sir)...3 steps to view any given user's journal.

this is a good idea.. because the spamming views is stupid.. and who gives a shit how many entries a person has?

Do you guys plan on implemeting any of the changes that we all agree are good ideas, or is the suggestion forum here for shits and giggles?

Monty Python is genius.
Bleh, I dunno about the Journals. Mine's more of essays about how I think and stuff. I feel like I'm fucking mine up.

I'd give them a bit longer. We only just got SX up and going and Dan is probabilly to busy atm to make changes.

DrMarcEvil *hears a faint whispering*... Sorry, marc, is the best. I mean even if he hadn't introduced me to this site he'd still be the best poster in these forums. GJ Marc!
lol no i am the worst poster.
Shit i dont mean to sound like an asshole, but keeping us posted on a situation takes all of 30 seconds. A simple "yeah i think thats a good idea" "i'm thinking of how to do that" "i'm not sure i can" or a million other small responses from dan would be dandy. Communication is the key, please communicate with the users k dan
