Alright... here is what I need:
Router for PS2-Cable modem and for PC-Cable modem.
Here is what I've found:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=33-128-008&depa=0
Also need: Cheap 64 mb PCI video card for temporary use
Here is what I've found: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=698883&Sku=E145-1029&CatId=319
Now, questions:
Will that router do the job?
If not, what do I need different?
I have an integrated awful video card, so how would I go about using the new one I am buying, and anything else I should do when installing it?
And uh, anything else I should know? :(

Hmm, I thought your router question would have been answered in your last thread with the exact same router. Anyways...
As far as the GF4 MX440 goes, that's the same card I have except an AGP version of it (and I have the second edition, or GF4 MX440 SE AGP). I'm assuming you don't have an AGP port in your computer, if you're looking for a PCI card. Running the GF4 MX440 in PCI mode is okay, but don't expect to play anything new with it. The best you'll get is playing UT2k3 in single player, and you'll still get a lot of frame skip. If you want to even think about playing multiplayer with that bad boy, you're going to have to turn down all the graphic settings and turn off all the special graphic features. Diablo 2 will run like a charm though.
If you don't know how to install things, it's generally a good idea to read the manual that comes with it, since it can walk a baby through installation quite easily. If you're still a clutz on installing things, get a tech to install it for you.

That router should be fine. As for the vid card, I think you have to go into BIOS and look for an option to disable the integrated graphics. Either that or look in windows settings. Installing the card is pretty much just putting it in a slot, doesnt really get much easier.

Only if he's using a computer that's from the era of win98 creation. Most all motherboards override integrated graphics the moment a video card is detected. And this is all explained in the manuals.

Sorry, the last I checked on the router thread was that it SHOULD work but no one confirmed, and I never checked again, and this was the right forum anyway, sorry. :) Thanks oo
The video card is mainly just going to be playing Quake 3: Arena, Counter-Strike, and Warcraft 3. I'm using an integrated 4mb video card, and although my FPS fluctuates like crazy, I can get 30-60 not doing anything on CS, 20-30 most of the time, but it freezes for 4-5 seconds or more a lot, and smoke/flashlights/Nightvision etc. kill my FPS. So, this should help. No AGP slots, but this is just a temp. card, and thankfully my new mobo will have them =0

And there's no surefire 100% method to know whether a router will work with PS2 or not. You just have to try it and find out. If it doesn't, just return it and check around your town for some generic 4 port linksys/netevery router.
