Anyhow in contrast to the chessy frozen orb that always seems to grace me screen and lag me to hell has anybody ever had success with such?

I know most of the USWest sorcs, (from what I hear) Don't put as much into cold mastery so they can max blizzard, Anyway the object is too get your oponet too move and put them in fo orb range, From what I hear it works well.

bliz+ static tweaker. It used to work in d2c, dont c y it wont now. U'll prolly have to put in nova or something later for the cold immunes.

Cause static cant go below 1/3 in NM and 1/2 in hell

usually monsters will die from one bliz spike after taken down to half their hp.

On 1-player, maybe. For us who routinely play on "players 8" (due to shocking lag, SP), it won't cut it. I love my double/triplecast orb and T-storm backup...
